Geoffrey Mazullo

Director of Emerging Markets ESG, Adjunct Professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law IIT

Geoffrey Mazullo possesses 29 years of technical expertise as an analyst, trainer, and writer covering corporate governance; corporate social responsibility (CSR); environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting; investor relations; and socially responsible investment (SRI) in developed and emerging markets. 

He has surveyed the governance practices of banks, corporates, and financial institutions in BRIC, Canada, the Caucasus, Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), Egypt, European Union (EU) member states, Japan, South East Europe (SEE), and the United States. He contributed to developing corporate governance codes and SRI policy in transition economies in CEE, Egypt, Russia, and SEE transition economies. 

Following studies of diplomacy, economics, and political science in Washington, DC; Sussex, UK; Krakow, Poland; Berlin; and London, Mr. Mazullo worked as a corporate governance analyst, first with Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) and later with the Investor Responsibility Research Center (IRRC).

Since 2006 Geoffrey has been chair of the NASDAQ Baltic Market Awards evaluation committee. He speaks French, German, Polish, and Serbo-Croatian and is proficient in Italian and Russian.

Professor Geoffrey Mazullo teaches Corporate Governance and Sustainable Finance courses at the SAL Program.
